Last week I might have had the world record for scratcher price gauging. I was asked to do a portrait style Egyptian queen with photo realistic lotuses as an outer half sleeve. I charge 120$ an hour and I quoted her at 5-6 hours. Immediately I regretted this as it was possible this estimate because this could easily turn into an 8-9 hour tattoo. But I thought oh well it seems fun. Her response was that my prices were INSANE and CRAZY. I told her that thats the going rate and that I actually under quoted her a bit. She thought my prices were high because she asked another shop and they told her 180$ flat... 180$ for a tattoo with the potential to last 10 hours. A shop. 180$. Couldnt believe it. Is this a world record?
