Last year a friend at work asked if I could resurrect his old guitar. A Samick. Custom Pro Shop Strat. It had been neglected over the years, but was basically a well made guitar. I sorted it for him. It needed a new bridge and fret job. I fitted new pickups, strings and a good setup. It only cost him the cost of the bridge. I did all the work for free. It turned out to be a nice sounding and playable guitar.
