Lately I have been observing a disturbing trend...posts, threads, blogs, vlogs, articles, groups and pages dedicated to conversations about male and female relationships. What I have observed from a distance is that both sides are totally unaware of what they are creating by engaging the conversation as they do. When we take society and dissect, then separate it violently along gender lines we create huge problems. When we take it a step further and seek to bash and malign one group we do even more harm. There is only male and female folks...dogs, cats and hyenas arent going to get the job done. If we do not seek to create unifying conversations we will continue to destroy our societies. Both sides are guilty, we can argue over who is more guilty but what does that solve? So many intelligent people throwing their brains out to bash a gender that they need in order to survive. Its like ripping out your heart and wondering why you are dying...its foolish and needs to stop! We cannot commit violent and unkind acts against our partners in life and expect that the partnership will work. As I said, its only us here playing this game called life. Lets start to figure out how we can do it right, cause what weve been doing certainly isnt working. Now somebody please get me a line on some good cheesecake cause I need a slice of something sweet.
