Latest news here in Cyprus.... The Sporting Club First Touch 04 ACADEMY 2001/02 players endured an almighty physical challenge last night when they faced the 2000 squad of Olympiacos. Although they were defeated the lads were technically superior in every department and produced the best moments of attacking football. However due to the opposition playing their 2000 squad it was a big ask for the players to compete with the physical aspects. Despite the physical mismatch the players showed a real determination and kept going right to the final whistle. There were many positives to take from the game. This morning they faced a local academy side here in Aya Napa drawing 4-4. The players are currently back at the hotel resting before we face the challenge of Enosis Neon Paralimni A side later this afternoon.
