Laurina writes: Hi. my almost 5 yo needs to touch and feel everything and when he has to go from one place to another takes him a long time. Ive reading about SPD and for this and I see traits I him but Ive talked with a friend who is psychologist specialist in giftedness and she told me that she doesnt believe in this condition. That in giftedness is not a neurological problem that is more like a trait caused by their way of thinking and they OE. I dont know what to do or think. The only thing I know is that I have to spend the day justifying my kids explosions or acctitudes because some people take them as if their were disobeying. By the other hand, my oldest one (5yo) when it comes about putting in a paper numbers or letter or even reading sometimes can be so taught and frustrating. He knows haw it has to be but he can do it. For example is easier for him to use an Computer keyboard and write and I dont know how to help him. Sorry about my English. I dont even know if I have explained myself. Thank you.
