Lawsuits, impeachment...why have the Republicans not said what they really mean and threatened lynching? Watching Republican statesmanship (the appropriate word is brinksmanship) the last six years has been like watching a five year old play with a loaded handgun (which theyd probably also support). There have been two impeachment trials in US history, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Both were completely politically motivated and neither accomplished a thing...oh, btw, impeachment is not conviction, not censure; it is only indictment. That means any action, real or imagined can be impeachable, so the term impeachable offense, while it makes it sound like wrongdoing has occurred, means nothing.
