Leading up to the 2000 Olympics, Frédéric Weis was considered an extremely exciting NBA prospect. He was drafted by the New York Knicks with the 15th pick of the 1999 NBA Draft. However at the Games, whilst playing against Team USA, something occurred that, in the opinions of many, Weis never truly recovered from.
