Learn from mistakes of your past; particularly mistakes others have made at their misfortune; not yours. Europe for past 15 years open immigration practices has caused what may be past point of no return. France, Germany, England and others are loosing their identity by basically allowing any number if Muslims come into their country and take/section off land as Islam/Sharia law only zones; where local gov and police do not apply or not allowed. Like a country within a country, now both hostile to each other; this policy for all these years has now gotten out of control, dividing millions of people and now causing many deaths. Europe calls this unification which had proved a disaster. Make sure unification never happens in the United States.
