Leaving work and driving home the long way, I switched the dial and landed on KUSP because the DJ was playing some Dr John. After 3 songs by the Dr, I started to wonder if it was a tribute to him because hed just died. They continued to play Dr John for the rest of my 45 minute drive home - all kinds of stuff from his early career to his good lp from last year - and I was indeed eulogizing the Dr. in my head at that point. It was a great and inspired selection of DrJohn music, and I thought that the DJ had put a genius set together at the last minute.
