To ensure that all Company quality parameters and procedures are complied with and that all products manufactured meet the required standards and specifications. b. To assess raw material specification data against Company and retailer requirements, requesting further detail and clarification from suppliers where necessary before approving it for use to produce finished product specifications. c. To work closely with a range of internal departments and suppliers to gather information, and to interpret this data to complete specifications in compliance with Company standards. d. To update the Company’s specifications database. e. To keep updated with current and forthcoming legislation to ensure that the Company’s products conform to relevant legal requirements. f. To work with the Company’s internal recipe management system. g. To work with the Supplier Development Manager in relation to supplier audits and associated documentation and systems. h. To take part in the supplier approval process, assessing approval documentation and providing reasoned judgement to colleagues when necessary.
