Left the. Twin cities at 10:30 am. It was slow but we just took our time. Got To Mille Lac and you couldnt see the lake. From Garrison it was rough the highway was not plowed, it was snowing and the snow was deep. Hard to stay on the roads. Got to Blue Lake road and slowly went three Miles back to the cabin. Very happy To arrive safely at 2:30 pm. We walked down the hill with our supplies, Dan brought the rest of the stuff down on a sled. I made a fire in the fireplace. We should have opened a bottle of wine. The lake is gorgeous, not completely frozen yet. The snow glistens in the sunlight and the trees are covered with the heavy snow and its beautiful. We love it, just like the roads plowed! Otherwise winter is beautiful up here in the woods!
