Lesson of the weekend, Dont underestimate washing your hands religiously when you have kids. Events in chronological order, 1 week ago: day care puts a sign that pink eye is going around. Never heard of pink eye, google, ok 2- 2nd day Zain s eye oozing stuff and red, go try to open the eye to put ointment with swinging head and flying hands, thankfully we have four hands and extra weight between me and his mother , four times daily excercise, I really dont know how a single parent would have done that :-) 3- Zain goes to grandparents, him and mama pick me up after work for a quil tour in the mall. While caryying him a big explosive throwing up leaves me covered from top with bottom with ...mama: oh, not again!! Me: what do you mean again ? She: 3 rd time today :-( so why are we shopping instead of going yo doctor !!!) 4- Doctor scene: family at doctor, son(pink eye, vomiting , ) father( sore throat, headaches) , Mother( many things :-( 5- throwing up caused by stomach flu, no milk for Zain , a lot of electrolytes drinks, warning contagious 6- papa wakes up yesterday with pink eye 7- phone call this morning from hospital , grandma and grandpa in intensive care , stomach flu got the extremely dehydrated 8- waiting for the stomach flu :-(
