Let me say first that the web site the grio generally features some of the worst journalism on the net. But the people there do seem to be trying to be better. But I always remind myself that this IS a corporate owned site...a part of NBC. To many of us the information in this article has for the most part been obvious for a long time. And having grown up in the South we always knew of people who were lost after they chose to pass for white, blending into the white population and sometimes never heard from again...in truth this subject deserves a long piece to be written ...but I thought it was interesting how the person who wrote this article seemed so surprised that so many white people had Black DNA. thegrio/2014/12/22/study-southern-white-people-more-black-dna/
