Let us pause and enjoy this nice sunny weekend. The National Weather Service also says Fairbanks could see its first official frost. The agency says up to 5 inches of snow could fall in the eastern Brooks Range on Friday night and Saturday morning. That could affect traffic on the Dalton Highway. The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports that snow is expected across the North Slope, with the heaviest amounts expected in the eastern Brooks Range near Atigun Pass and Galbraith Lake.
