I had the joy of knowing Sr. Jeanette when we were both living with the Sisters of St. Joseph, Orange, CA. When Sister Jeanette was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to the liver. She outlived the doctors prognosis. In 2011, she spoke to the sisters of her congregation about living to the fullness of life with a prognosis of death.
