Leticia and I had a great time doing our Johnny Cash June Carter Tribute at the Brand Art Center in Glendale, CA with LA Times Music critic and the best selling author of the new Johnny Cash biography, Johnny Cash: The Life. Hilburn was very gracious and told us that we did a great show. He discussed his new book with Mary McNamara from the LA Times after our show. I am humbled at his praise coming from the man who was the only journalist at Cashs Folsom Prison Concert. He especially liked our versions of Hurt. and Big River.
