Lets just stand on the beach,gaze across the Ocean admire its beauty and then treat it like a toilet and Rubbish dump. The talking heads in our governments spin all sorts of platitudes about protecting it but not only do nothing but continue to abuse it. New Oil exploration rights, continued over exploitation of the fishery, ignoring imminent extinctions like that of the Maui Dolphin so a small community can continue the desperate hunt for the honour of eating the last fish.Surely human habitation meets the definition of insane? and we some how manage to elect the maddest. Climate change and the protection of our oceans should be seminal issues for this coming Election and we ignore them both at our peril. Vote for a party with at least some social conscience towards our environment. The Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand is that party and in a coalition with Mana Movement New Zealand Labour Party we can at least make a start
