Lets start with the statement that blogging is nothing new. All types of people blog including traditional business owners, accountants, direct sales, authors, non profit operators, hairdressers, financial planners, interior decorators, lawyers, chiropractors, chefs and on and on. These people blog to promote their business and share expertise with their audience. Some people blog strictly as a hobby, but many are looking to increase business and monetize their blog. It has been happening since 2007 and will continue to increase. So, the fact that you need to blog and drive traffic to your site is not the issue. What is the issue is how you are going to do it. You can try to teach yourself WordPress, spend money on themes, learn SEO strategies, Google Analytics, setting up campaigns with your auto responder and the list keeps going. Or, you can link up with a system that has done all of this for you. You can then spend your time on activities that will actually produce such as learning your target audience, your writing style, how to market,etc. It does not happen overnight and yes, it takes work, but anything worth having does. So, you have a choice just like I did. I chose Empower Network. Im using it to market my direct sales business, blog about my passion for Farmers Markets and toxin free living and most importantly, how to help people stuck in the corporate grind how to break free and live their lives on their terms. Or you can choose to not blog at all (big mistake) or build it from the ground up (big time and energy sucker). Think about it.
