Lets talk nutrition... Now Im not a nutritionist and Im not - TopicsExpress

Lets talk nutrition... Now Im not a nutritionist and Im not telling anyone to do anything here. Im just sharing some of things that have helped me on my journey. So Ive been using my 21 Day Fix containers which have been so helpful (portion control and the right types of foods too) Ive been at this for 3 months with pretty consistent workouts and have lost a total of 15 lbs. (thats about a lb. a week) So Ive been happy with that, but started to really try to push myself and not eat anything after 7pm and then not eat any carbs after 5 pm. It was a little difficult in the beginning, but I got use to it really quick and now I dont even think about eating in the evening, Ive learned that its okay to go to bed slightly hungry, not Thanksgiving stuffed feeling (like I use to) So now Im pushing it even further and have been trying out Intermittent Fasting. Have you heard of it? From what I understand you eat all your calories for the day in a 6 to 8 hour time frame. So basically have a late breakfast (or no breakfast at all), I personally like breakfast so I eat after my morning workout at 10 am then I still eat my usual meals using my 21 Day Fix containers and Im done eating by 6 pm. I feel like its been great as far as weight loss goes and helping me with my cravings and constant need to snack on something. I dont feel as hungry as I use to (or in other words, Im not eating out of boredom) This is NOT a starve yourself thing, Im still getting quality nutrition through the foods I eat, with Shakeology, and all the calories I need. Im just eating during an 8 hour time period. Im feeling great and my will power is getting stronger (Halloween candy HAS thrown me off a bit, haha. But Im saying no more than I ever did in the past) Check out the video and see if this is something that will work for you, it sure has been helpful for me. Maybe Ill start a free Intermittent Fasting group if anyone is interested. The support from a group is so so helpful! https://youtube/watch?v=Uh0LclDcE1Y
