Life in the day of a runner: Looking Forward Yesterday, I took my Scrambled Legs Running and finished Thirteen. One miles. I didnt find my Perfect Velocity, but I did manage to find another finish line. But now, it is Marathon or Bust. I have only 3 weeks of training left until 26.yikes! Heres what Im looking forward to over the next 21 days and commitments I am making to myself: 1. I am Never Too Busy To Be Fit - the remaining training days are few and very important. 2. Kettlebells and Kilometers - sure to see quite a few of those in my coachs training plan. 3. A Please Dont Eat Me Sign - need to get my nutrition in order and stay away from some of my bad food choices. 4. Pounding Pavement - going to be increasing the miles, particularly my long weekend runs. 5. Sweat Run Repeat - hill repeat will compose several remaining training runs, as the race is a downhill venue, losing about 5,000 ft in elevation over the 26 miles. 6. I Love Yoga - incorporating yoga sessions into the plan to help with the healing and flexibility issues Im having. 7. Live Laugh Love Run - going to enjoy the journey. I am very close to fulfilling a Dream Run and do not want to overlook all I have done to get to this point. There you have it, a glimpse into my My Running Diary. What are you looking forward to as the summer winds down? ~G
