Like many of the things that happen at Peace One Day I am so honoured to be on this journey, being able to meet such remarkable individuals as Mary Robinson, who is the United Nations Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for the Great Lakes Region of Africa. Last week I flew to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to meet with her to talk about the Peace One Day Peace Project in DRC and the Great Lakes region. It was great to hear that she thinks Peace Day can play a part in the wider peace process in which she is involved, both in DRC and the Great Lakes region.
