Like most of the customers on this page, Im a second generation Market Basket shopper. Growing up, even though my mother worked at Purity Supreme, we still shopped at Market Basket every week. I am a stay at home mother of a 5 year old girl and 2 1/2 year old twin boys. With just one income, money is always tight. Each week I spend $175-$200 on groceries. Im able to really stretch that by always shopping at Market Basket. I am absolutely appalled by the boards decision. It shows nothing but a blatant disregard for the loyal customers & employees. So now, for a third week in a row I will be spending my $200 at Shaws & The Billerica Farmers Market. Yes, I will be getting less for my dollar, but until Artie T. is back, Ill suck it up. And to all of you employees who have stuck your necks out & stood your ground, keep up the good fight! For each one of you, there are many of us customers standing right behind you......all the way!
