You may not listen to reason or have faith that your interests or rights are being protected, and as a result, you could resort to intimidation or overkill. While there may be no question about your dedication, your convictions or principles may change with the circumstances. Taking a step back or becoming objective can bring a new perspective on the meaning of true justice. Justice Your Annual Development Card Your growth and development cards for the current year and your lifetime describe some of the positive and negative influences, possibilities, issues, or even people with whom you may come in contact, or that could have an effect on you throughout the course of each year. (Upright) This year you might try to resist change, become overly materialistic, selfish, or fail to recognize your own self-imposed limitations, addictions, or hang ups. There might be hidden things about you that you wont acknowledge, and you might come to believe that if you deny, escape, laugh them off, or cover them up, they wont exist. They will be there, however, with you always, and wont go away until you resolve to free yourself from unhealthy, restrictive, dysfunctional, excessive, or obsessive desires, secrets, or situations. You are the only one who will have the power to overcome, make the choice, accept responsibility, or see the light, but this may not be the year that you get it yet, and could instead, blame others for your lack of control. You know you shouldnt, but you probably will. Expect a reality check just before the noose tightens or before it is too late. (Reversed) This year could present temptations or cause you to fall victim to selfish or materialistic urges. After overcoming hang ups, self-imposed limitations, dysfunctions, or obsessive desires, secrets or situations, you could tend to swing too far in the other direction, becoming a self-righteous, judgmental prude, ashamed, or too serious, tending only to necessity. Fearing consequences or dysfunction, you may simply exist; trying to get through the day or the year without regression or set backs, but you may feel suffocated or be in danger of hanging yourself with your own rope of fear.
