Lils pups are now 4.5 weeks old - almost ready to be rehomed! At this age pups start to show their personalities, so far the smallest girl seems to be the most active and the first to try anything new. With new people initially they are cautious but after a second or two are very friendly, and at this point in their development it’s important that they are getting used to the sight and sound of new people, Rachel who fosterers her has many friends who pop round to meet the puppies. Pointers are an active but sensitive breed and it’s this characteristic that they need to do the “pointing” aspect of their behaviour, so as they have a sensitive side ensuring they are used to new sights and sounds at a young age is so important for them.
