Lindsey, Katy and Erin! After just coming home from our 1st competition tonight, Crystal and I just want to express our gratitude to the three of you for the countless hours you put into our daughter and all of the other children at EDC! We know that the three of you have a passion for what you do, it was clear the moment we met each of you! That passion is what has helped our daughter to grow to love dance more than we had ever imagined! Heck … as of today she officially loves dance more than me … Her Father! But it’s more than just her ever growing love to dance! Spending time with each of you has helped Kaitlyn grow as an individual! The qualities she possesses are not only a sign of our FANTASTIC parenting ... heh ... but also signs of some phenomenal teachers and most amazing role models! It’s that same passion that built what many people would call their second home … The Studio! What you have managed to build now in 4 short years is nothing but remarkable! When we walk into the studio we are surrounded by positivity, love, support, friendship and so much more! It’s evident you want these qualities as the foundation at the studio, as you have employed the greatest teaching staff and teaching assistants! You girls get a lot of credit for what goes on at the studio and rightfully so but the staff you have in place is unbelievable! We have not had a chance to work with many girls over the past few years but every single teacher Kaitlyn has had outside the 3 of you, she looks up to! She can’t wait to get home and try the dances they do at recital or competitions! Kaitlyn was literally in tears on the drive home tonight as she was going to miss the big girls dancing! Kaitlyn has worked with … (FORGIVE ME IF I FORGET SOMEONE!!) Miss Sarah, Miss Rachel, Miss Julia, Miss Vanessa, Miss Julia, Miss Kaitlin and Miss Rachel! All of whom she loves dearly and looks up to! The support she still gets from each of them is amazing, even though she only currently works with Miss Rachel in ballet! She is thrilled when she can jump up onto the stage or just see one of the big girls around and know that they will look after her or at the very least offer her a hello and a hug! When Kaitlyn knew that Miss Julia showed up tonight she could not wait to find her and show her the first medal she’s won! It’s moments like that I won’t forget as a parent, a moment when my daughter wants to run and show her teachers and her role models what she’s achieved because of their support! You have built a great place for our daughter to grow and we are thankful for that! We can always say thanks in passing and I could probably ramble on for a few more pages but we just wanted to express our gratitude and say that we are truly looking forward to many more years to come! So again …. THANK YOU! And Thank You to all of those that have worked with Kaitlyn in the past few years that I had mentioned above, we are grateful for your kind hearts and love and support you show our daughter, for without each of you this amazing and most memorable day would not have been possible! 1,2,3 EDC!
