Lions legend Jeremy Guscott: "Pre-match is always a very nervous time for all players. No matter how relaxed a player might seem on the outside, inside, mentally and physically, you can be going through hell. You go through various exercises to keep it all under control. "The doubt and the fear, all trying to access your deepest thoughts, need to be continually smashed back. Every player has a calm peaceful place in their mind, I always used to keep thinking about how I was going to make a break, tackle my opposite number, take the ball into contact or score a try, and what that would all feel like. "You think about your family and friends and how much you love them, everything that makes you feel good. I also looked around the changing room at the truly brilliant players I had earned the right to play alongside, and got a massive boost." Goosebumps
