Lisa just brought home White House Down. I want to see how Channing Tatum performs, especially in staged combat, despite the fact that his character in this movie will probably be radically different from Remy LeBeau. I was skeptical when I found out that Tatum was cast as Gambit, but he deserves a fair shake to display his range. Paul and Juli are considerably better versed than I am about how to display comic book characters on screen. As are Alberto and Pedro. O.K., there are fifty former Chessmasters better versed in the matter than I am, but I want an actor to have a physique and capacity for movement that matches the character.
