Little Veterans Day Weekend Message. Had a very interesting talk with a great friend today, made me realize how many veterans are just not understood, Really made me think, it was brought to my attention that some of our younger vets just dont show the passion that our older vets do. Makes me wonder if it comes with time? I do realize that I dont talk about most of my time in the service, I honestly dont think most would want to hear about it, I will always share stories of the family, created within the ranks, but never really shared more. I think at the end of the day, the service really made us some of the most interesting creatures out there, with the best sense of twisted humor. It was our way of getting thru the day, good or bad. Ever wondered where the name Dysfunctional Veterans came from, well we were created. I Recently came across this video, and can relate to almost every reference made, Maybe, Just Maybe, thats why so many of our younger vets are just in the background when the come home, Not beating there chests saying I was there, I Did It. They lived this life, they paid a price, a change to them as people, they cant turn the clock back on, One thing I can tell you for sure is the pride they have in the country, there Uniform, and there brother, you can never ever come between, they were willing to give there life for it already. To each And every Brother that served Before, With, or After Me, Happy Veterans Day, and Thank You not only for Your service, but changing your whole Life for this great country!
