Living a Christian life means much more then going to church! Thats too easy! Jesus didnt call us to something thats as easy as just going too church! He said pick up your cross daily, but most of us pick up our cross when we go to church! The Great Commission that we are called to has to preached in our jobs, schools, places where we daily go! But the hardest place to do this is in a place where we are surrounded by comfortable Christians! We have to make sacrifices, sometimes that means leaving your family, church, city, and coming to Portland for 4 months! If thats too Big of a sacrifice then think about Jesus who made the biggest sacrifice, He left Heaven for the Cross! We see the disciples making sacrifices to follow Jesus, and they grow in their personal relationship with Christ before Jesus tells them to go and preach the gospel! God Will Provide Missionary School is a place where you grow in your personal relationship with Christ to places where surrounded by comfortable Christians you wouldnt!
