Livingston County Emergency Management June 26, 2013: A severe thunderstorm watch covers much of the area for the remainder of this afternoon and evening. A line of thunderstorms should develop over parts of southern Illinois and southern Indiana. This line of thunderstorms will move southward through the late afternoon and evening hours. Some of the thunderstorms that form today could produce damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, frequent lightning, and perhaps one or two tornadoes. Monitor NOAA Weather Radio and National Weather Service updates. A severe thunderstorm watch means that conditions are favorable for severe weather. A warning means to take action and shelter from threatening weather. weatherobservatory/radar_comp2.htm
