Local folks with kids: Id love to hear from you about our idea to have a workshop/farm exploration series for kids in August just before school starts. Wed really like to get started offering these farm experiences to our local youngsters. With my experience as a teacher both in public and private schools and at home, we think this is a natural fit for our farm. Would you consider sending your kids? Were thinking of a Monday through Friday, 9-3 (8/18-8/22) with lunch from the gardens that we would all prepare. Animal care, gardening, pasture and forest walks, farm crafting - rain or shine.
