Long Island horse question Anyone near Cold Spring Harbor, NY have a horse I can ride?, or know a good stable near by? I am doing a hunter pace on November 24th and havent ridden since the first week of May, and before that hadnt ridden since my mare reared up and we fell backwards and she broke my back on November 5, 2012. I had no fear or concern riding my gelding in May because he is the best horse anyone could ask for (and unfortunately still in California because I do not have enough money all at once to bring him back home) but am very anxious to ride a horse I dont know, especially in a race, through the woods, with jumps... Joey (my gelding) and I did lots of trails, cross country and hunter paces so its nothing new for me, and Im really excited, just doubting my abilities after my trauma = /
