They need fertiliser and good seeds to produce higher yields but can’t afford to buy them and money lenders are hesitant to provide loans because poor weather or infection could destroy the crops and the farmers cant repay the loan. Buyers dont want to make large contracts for the same reason. Also if everyone produced higher yields, the market would become saturated and prices would go down, defeating the purpose. *Notice how many times he promotes GMO awful + Artificial fertilize and thats the way to get out of poverty & produce more. *If the government wants to produce more it need to provide a agricultural tractor and water to the farmers. period!
