Looking for a challenging 4WD track? Want somewhere different? NGARKAT IS THE HOT SPOT FOR OFF-ROAD DRIVING Put together your own experience, grab a few mates and head bush. Visit Scorpion Springs, Nannam’s Well and the Fish Ponds, or travel to the Red Bluff, down the border track and back via the centre track or out via Pertendi Hut. Another day trip is the drive to the Pines, on to the Gums and through to Big Billy and back via the fire track, or a trip north on the Border Track to the Rock Pools and The Eucy Pots then across to the Dingo Ranges and back. NB The one way section of the Border Track (part of Ngarkat Conservation Park, about 34 kms south of Pinnaroo) only opens outside fire ban season (approx April 1 to late Oct.
