Bilingual LVN For Intake & Eligibility - Home Health (Palmdale) compensation: Hourly Rate - DOE Bilingual LVN for Intake & Eligibility -- Home Health A local licensed Home Health Agency in Palmdale is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) to work in our Eligibility Department as an Intake Coordinator. This is a full time benefited position and is located at the Home Health Office in Palmdale, CA. The job entails verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, authorizations protocol, verifying MD orders, list medications and discharge instructions, assign evaluations nurse any anything that falls under the duties of intake coordinator. In addition, all candidates must have excellent computer skills, and excellent communication skills. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Obtain referral intake from referral sources Obtain complete information like H&P, accurate DX, previous home care services and insurance information of the patient Verify eligibility Inform the patient once referral is received about the order of home care Give case managers all referral information obtained either verbally or faxed for review Obtain approval of referral from case managers as well as approval of appropriate staff to evaluate and follow up Additional duties may be assigned Requirements: Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Must speak, read and write Spanish Must have some experience working as an LVN either in the field or in an office or hospital setting Experience as an intake coordinator for a licensed home health agency is preferred, but not required (we can train) Must have advanced computer skills Must have excellent communication skills Compensation: negotiable based on work experience If you meet all of the criteria above and interested in being considered for this position, please e-mail or fax your resume, a cover letter or fax same to 818-337-7356 We are looking to fill this position this week.
