Lord,help me to remember that no matter how dark my situation may become,u are de light of my life & can never be put out.No matter what dark clouds settle on my life,u will lift me above de storm & into de comfort of your presence.Only u can take whatever loss I experience & fill that empty place with good.Only u can take de burden of my grief & pain & dry my tears.Hear me when I call,O God of my righteousness!U have relieved me in distress;have mercy on me,& hear my prayer (Psalm 4:1).In times of grief,suffering,or trial,I pray for an added sense of your presence.I want to grow stronger in these times & not weaker.I want to increase in faith & not be overcome with doubt.I want to have hope in de midst of it & not surrender to hopelessness.I want to stand strong in your truth & not be swept away by my emotions.Thank u that I do not have to be afraid of bad news because my heart is steadfast,trusting in u(Psalm 112:7).Thank u that u have delivered my soul from death,my eyes from tears,& my feet from falling (Psalm 116:8).Thank u that I walk before u with hope in my heart & life in my body.Thank u that I shall not die,but live,& declare de works of de Lord (Psalm 118:17).Even when my soul melt from heaviness,I pray that u would strengthen me according to your word (Psalm 119:28).Help me to remember to give thanks to u in all things,knowing that u reign in de midst of them.Remind me that u have redeemed me & Im yours & nothing is more important than that.I know when I pass through de waters u will be with me & de river will not overflow me.When I walk through de fire I will not be burned,nor will de flame touch me (Isaiah 43:1-2).Thats because u are a good God & have send your holy spirit to comfort & help me.I pray that u,O God of hope,will fill me with all joy & peace & faith so that I will abound in hope by de power of de holy spirit (Romans 15:13).Thank u that u have sent your holy spirit to be my comforter & helper.Remind me of that in de midst of difficult times.
