Losing a child is the hardest thing that I have ever gone through - TopicsExpress

Losing a child is the hardest thing that I have ever gone through by far!! Losing Uziel trumps any other struggle in my life that I have ever faced! I am so thankful for the 16 years that I had with him!! When I lost Seranadia it tore me up. I had turned 20 just a few days prior to her birth so I was very young. They life flighted her out of Walla Walla just after I came out of sedation so I barely got to see her and I was never allowed to hold her. Losing Uzi is so much harder than that was!! We get so wrapped up in our sorrow and our pain that we tend to forget that those around us are suffering too. I think about the animals all the time, but because they cant speak I think they are doing better and focus on me and Shane. Yest we had to take Jersey to the vet to get some work done on his ear. On the way home we saw a boy on a bicycle riding beside us. The boy was very tall and lean and was wearing a hoodie so his face was covered. Jersey ran to the window and watched the boy intently! We stopped at a stop light and Jersey never took his eyes off that boy. He rode around on his bike while we were stopped the when we started to go Jersey didnt want to lose him so he ran to the back window and watched him until he was out of sight. It broke my heart!! I told him it wasnt Uzi, but he was so hoping that it was!!! It really opened my eyes to the pain that they are still suffering at the loss of their brother!!! Im so thankful that the last day of his life he let all the animals curl up with him in bed and take a nap with him. I wish there was a way that they could say goodbye to him as well.
