Love is the foundation of life. We make love to create life, yet - TopicsExpress

Love is the foundation of life. We make love to create life, yet most people dont recognise its true meaning. I love you is the most misunderstood and misrepresented expression today followed by falling in love. In a society paralyzed by epidemic proportions of fear, manisfested as low self-esteem, deception, and manipulation, the question remains, where is the love? Over the months, I have personally interviewed and counseled singles. In my experience, the most prevalent fact affecting society and relationships today concurrent with our high-tech & high-powr world is that people have lost sight of value. Today our life styles are marked by materialism, status, comptition & the loss of cultural identity. Lack of self-esteem is the most frequently cited cause for failed relationships in America. My approach to discovering a true love connection begins with consciousness, first of oneslf & then of ones other. Its sad to note that most people make the biggest decision of their lives to marry under the guise of romance. When the romantic ideal wears off, each realizes the reality of the other and begins to become disillussioned by their projected perception of the other, not who the other really is. Thats when complications arise. Most relationships begins and end for love or money. Love in the absence of value is not love, however, its misunderstood notion that is often confused with a sense of affection, need, desire or lust. Love is not an emotion. In essence, love is an expression of value. Money is merely an instrument with which to measure love. So, how do we find love? Intergrity and physics! We attract what we are. First, you must fully understand, accept and value yourself and your own unique individual life purpose, then the value of others would not be difficult. In his words, Mahatma Gandhi said, where there is love there is life. - Ralph Dominion
