Lucy - Despite the trailer making the film look pretty bad, it actually turned out to be rather enjoyable. Yes its stupid, and there are some moments where youre just saying to yourself really?! but its one of those films where you just need to (ironically) leave your brain at the door and just go with it. There are moments when you are reminded of how good Luc Bessons films can be. While this doesnt rank anywhere near films like Leon or The Fifth Element there is enjoyment to be had, although the climax of the film might seem a bit out of place given the earlier parts of the film, it does seem as though its more suited to a different type of film. Johansson delivers another fine performance, not as good as in Under The Skin (which deals with similar issues as Lucy and is a far superior film).
