MAHACHI SET FOR MONACO TRIALS, And CHIZA AT IT AGAIN HIGHLANDERS FC’s dribbling wizard Kudakwashe Mahachi is set to be paid 1,2 million euros if he makes it into the French team Monaco where he is set to undergo trials this week. Absa Premiership club Mamelodi Sundowns player Mahachi is set for a mega dollar deal in Monaco as they are offering a huge package for him if he passes trials. The ginger-haired Mahachi could play alongside Dimitar Berbatov, Eric Abidal, Ricardo Carvalho and Radamel Falcao who are in the ranks of the Abu Dhabi owned club if he passes the trials. Mahachi revealed this on Friday night at Eagle Life Ministries where he was thanking his Spiritual Father Prophet Blessing Chiza for his blessings. He also gave a testimony about the prophecy that he was given early this year which has been fulfilled. Monaco bound Mahachi said Chiza told him that he was destined for Europe despite the youngster setting sights on South Africa where he belongs to Sundowns who snapped him up after an impressive Chan tournament. “I want to give thanks to the Lord through my Spiritual Father Chiza. I am now going to France next week for trials. “He told me after our match against Mali that many teams in the world and South Africa were watching me but I was destined for Europe,” he said. Mahachi said at first he didn’t believe the man of God as he looked forward to joining mega rich South African side, Sundowns. “I didn’t take the word seriously because I had told myself that I was going to Sundowns but he told me that I was going to join a team that starts with Mo in France,” he said. The former Chicken Inn and Bantu Rovers player said he was now a Christian and with his girlfriend they have been attending church services at Eagle Life Ministries. Mahachi pledged to give to the church 10 percent of the promised 1,2 million euros as part of his tithe. “I promise if I make it in France, I will give 10 percent of my money to the church,” he said. Mahachi also pledged to donate towards the construction of church buildings. Prophet Chiza said France will be a stepping stone for Mahachi, as the young man is set for bigger teams in Spain and England. “This hair style is going to be a trademark in the Champions League, in England and Spain, there are more teams that are going to come after you and you will be among top five African players. You will reach places that no other Zimbabwean has reached,” said Chiza. He gave assurance to the Highlanders faithfuls that this year is their season of glory and that the free scoring form would continue. Highlanders’ players Peter “Rio” Moyo, Knox Mutizwa and Ozias Zibande also attended the church service at Eagle Life Ministries. Chronicle GOOD LUCK MAHACHI, YOU WILL MAKE IT
