MANILA, Philippines - Metro Manila has the highest homeless population in the world. Help Feed the less fortunate this Christmas For 205.00 Pesos (3.74 €) (4.60 U$D) you can feed one homeless person for couple of days. According to Homeless International, around 22.8 million reside in slums. Similarly, as per Philippine government report, 1.2 million are children who live either by peddling or begging on the streets. For many of these homeless people, Christmas will be just another ordinary day without food or shelter. GALLERY M & EAWW aim to share the true spirit of Christmas by helping less fortunate people and children. We have done this in the past and it is such a rich, rewarding, emotional experience to serve the Lord and our brothers and sisters in need. This year, we will have 140 homeless recipients around metro manila. Also, apart from a post-Christmas meal to be shared with Mother Theresa Foundation (Missionaries of Charity Home of Joy for the sick Children), we will be donating some basic daily provisions that they need like rice, sugar, baby milk, etc. Without feeding initiatives and volunteers, the wonderful taste of a holiday dinner wouldn’t be possible for the homeless and less fortunate people.
