Self catering Units. Close to shops, restaurants and bars I am currently visiting Mattanja Lodge. What a relaxing time Im having. Graet place to be. The weather is abselutely beautifull. The animals are amazing. I even had the oppertunity to feed a small njala whos mother ran away. Saw the Leopard, what a amazing animal. Brown hyaenas, bat ear foxes, what a wondefull opperunity I had to see all them in 3 days time. All the different kinds of antelopes, like Njala, Impala, Blue wildebeest, zebras, warthog, Giraffe, Red Hatrebeest, Blesbok, Grey Duiker, Springbok, Copper Sprinbok, Steenbok, Gemsbok, Kudus, Eland, WaterBuck. There is also Baboons, SouthAfrican Hedgehog, Lesser Bush Baby, Monkeys, Porcupine, Spring Hare, Caracal, Serval, African Wild Cat, Bat eared Fox, Black-backed Jackal, Honey Badgers, Small-spotted Genet, Civet, Slender Mongoose, Banded Mongoose, Dwarf Mongoose, Antbear. For Bird Lovers there is over 200 different tipes of birds. Wow, and I saw it all. If you ever have time off or looking for a proper bushvelt holiday, this is the place to be. And they are very affordable. Hunting season closed at the moment but trophy hunting open. I even had a full Massage by the pool, watching the animals coming for a drink at the water hole, this is paradise.
