MINIFEST 2014 We recently went to Worcesters Minifest 2014 Party In The Park. It was a scorcher of a day and attended by nearly 6000 people. YOUTHCOMM radio presenter DAVID WOOLDRIDGE was the sole organisor of this fantastic event. He worked tirelessly to create fabulous live music and a supberb entertainment event for all the family. With plenty of sunshine and smiling faces, this was a great fun day out, which is on the doorstep. The show started promptly at mid-day and finished at 7pm. Worcester needs more of these live events being organised throughout the summer months, and David is the guy to ensure that a very professional job is done. He was wearing several caps on the day, Promoter, Compere Organiser and Matriarch all rolled into one. A very enthusiastic guy who looked after all the performers. Gracing the stage on the day were: Jasper in the Company Of Others, Of Kings And Captains, Beth McCarthy and Ben Vickers from The Voice. Tim Barnwell, Done By Sunrise, Lauren Knight, The Worcester Wolverines, The Secrets, Kari & Tara, Sam Austin, Harrison Bruce, Matt Parkinson and lastly but not least rising star Abby Inez who has recently appeared at the LG Arena as support act to KATY PERRY. At eighteen years of age this young lady who attended Worcester Sixth Form College has had an unexpected hit on iTunes when her debut EP, Say What You Think, reached number seven on the singer-songwriter chart, sitting just behind Ed Sheerans Leg House. Wow! How about that. Along with a special guest appearance with PEPPA PIG, the cameras were clicking and the crowd just could get enough of the live entertainment. Fantastic day thanks David.
