MOBILE PHONE STUDENTS, NOT ACADEMICS Great pretenders. I taught a social science lesson on the topic globalisation and found out something very mysterious. I was in the middle of the lesson and saw some students looking sleepy, tired and wired in classroom. I keep on teaching and ask a question and the question is, name one factor or tool that drives communication. They could not answer the question and I said let me make the question more simple for you to understand and the question is WHAT IS THE DIGICELS CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER, ALL OF THEM SHOUTED, 123,actually this question was out of the lesson content and context but I just want to find out where their interest lies and there I have it. Teachers we are teaching mobile phone in classroom. They spend more time with mobile phone and know better the parts and the functions of the mobile phone than the content of the lesson. RESTRICT THE ACCESS OF MOBILE PHONE BY SCHOOL CHILDREN TO SAVE THEIR FUTURE.
