MORE THAN MAYBE "Do you love me...maybe?" you ask shyly with that hesitant little half smile, and your big, beautiful, little girl eyes, barely able to meet mine. "Do I love you maybe?" I reply, giving you a loving grin, gently lifting your chin coaxing you tenderly to really see me, from beneath the cover of your thick dark curls. Carefully I clasp your fingers in mine, kissing each one, one at a time, and bending down to meet your gaze, my voice cracking with such love it can barely raise, so I whisper my words oh soooo soft - "Oh babe, I love you SO MUCH MORE than maybe", and in that still, silent moment after, I hear you let go your breath in relief, and I cry with emotion to see you FINALLY believe.
