MOVIE REVIEW: Captain Phillips with Tom Hanks, Catherine Keener and Barkhad Abdi. Let me start by saying - SPOILER ALERT: WOW! What a good movie! Tom Hanks does his great job of brining a character to life and portraying this real life Ships Captain was excellent. The true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama, the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years. We watched this true story play out on TV all around the world but it was still exciting, entertaining and little frightening to see it happen on the screen. On a scale of one to ten where one is, dont waste your time and ten is see it a.s.a.p. I would give Captain Phillips a NINE PLUS! imdb/title/tt1535109/?ref_=nv_sr_1
