MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER This is a very special message of support to our residents, family members, friends and staff at Aberleigh Rest Home and Millvale House Miramar following the recent earthquakes and ongoing aftershocks and uncertainty. During the time of the earthquakes in Christchurch we shared our thoughts in an ongoing document we called "Moving Forward Together". Doing so brought us strength and comfort. Here is one of the thoughts which was shared by our Education Coordinator Simon Hamley: "Times like this remind us how uncertain life can be. We are all very used to having control over all aspects of our life and natural events like earthquakes change that. We lose control of many things. But we still have control over our thoughts, our fears and how we respond to the things life tends to throw at us. When you are at the end of your tether, tie a knot in it and hold on tight."
