MSF has started a two-year pilot on Home-Based Care services for people with disabilities to live in their own homes. The service will benefit people with disabilities who do not require or are not suitable for centre-based services and will allow caregivers to have more time to rest. The service consists of a 6 hour weekly package with 4 main components, namely: 1. Therapy 2. Personal Hygiene (e.g. bathing, oral hygiene, toileting) 3. Housekeeping (e.g. laundry, cleaning of toilets, sweeping and mopping of floors) 4.
