MSV Life – Div 3 Wk 8 Starting 2nd round this week it was One4All who had to play against the BYE team. CPAs surprised everyone by beating Pin Pulse 8-0 and they can thank young Edward Xuereb for this win as he played as a substitute registering the best male series of the night (477). The first two games were close with CPAs being slightly better than their opponents (527-507) and (487-472). Pin Pulse seemed to give up then as they only bowled a 431 in the last game, while CPAs shot to a 538 thanks to Edward’s 177 game. Pin Pulse dropped to 4th place while CPAs have amassed 20 points and are in 6th place. Bowlers of the game: Edward Xuereb (477) for CPAs and Louise Debono, 373 for PP. Brutal Legendz had an easy win this week trashing Still Around 8-0 and beating them by 261 pins. BL were never in danger of losing points playing good 519, 606 and 521 games, while Still Around never went up over the 500 series. This win proved important to Brutal Legendz as they have are now in the lead, but with only 3 points behind, One4All have already faced the ghost team so the fight for the top is intense. Raquel Xuereb was the best for BL and had also the high female series this week (457), while the best for Still Around was a 385 which came from Lilian Azzopardi. Mean Machine were the best team of the night, yet they lost 2 points against Guttered. Bowling good consistent games, the first two games were won easily, but then they dropped to a 517, while Guttered improved to a 549 to lose the last two points. This win ensured Mean Machine leapfrogged Pin Pulse to 3rd place. Best bowlers for this match were: Mark Serge with a good 431 for Guttered, while Joshua Ohayon bowled a 448 for MM.
