MVHS Class of 1964 I want to thank the 76 classmates and 46 guests who attended the 3 day, 50th reunion festivitiies, amd helped to make this reunion the best ever. Without your attendance and the dedication of the committee, who worked dilligently to arrange the festivities,, it would have never been a success. My description of our class is - we are the best and closest class to ever graduate. We arent getting older - we are getting better. The veterans program on Sunday started out overcast, but the sun broke through, when we were saying the Pledge of Allegiance. The entire program was spine tingling, thanks to the preparations, by Lou Tomlinson and Brenda Knowles. The grand finale was the passing of the LST, on the riverfront after the dedication. Our class motto was We have crosssed the river and the ocean lies ahead. Well we crossed the river and the ocean and we were back overlooking the river for our Veteran dedication. How fitting for our 50th. Love you all and cant wait to see everyone for our 70th Birthday party.
